Here’s everything you need to know to keep your snake plant thriving. Light Requirements Sansevieria are incredibly adaptable when it comes to light. They can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions, from full sun to low light. However, they thrive best in medium to bright indirect light. While they are quite resilient, it’s important to avoid placing them in a completely dark corner, as this can hinder their growth. So, a bright spot with indirect sunlight is ideal for your snake plant. #### Watering One of the most important things to remember when caring for Sansevieria is that they do not require frequent watering. Overwatering is a common mistake that can lead to root rot. To prevent this, wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. When you do water, ensure that it drains from the bottom of the pot. During the winter months, you should reduce watering frequency, as the plant’s growth slows down.
