How to get a Walmart Refund or Replacement?

Written Instructions:

Step 1

  • Locate - Package Arrived Email
  • Click - View Order
  • This will redirect you to the Walmart app or website.

Step2

  • Click - Start a Return
  • Select - the item you want to return.
  • Select - Continue

Step 3

  • Select - the option that best suits your issue with the item.
  • Select - Refund
  • Optional - add a comment.
  • Select - Save

Step 4

  • Select - how you would like to return the item.
  1. Return to Walmart Store
  2. Curbside Return at Walmart Store
  3. Return from home with W+
  4. Drop off at FedEx Office location
  5. Return by mail
  6. Schedule for Pickup by FedEx

Step 5

  • Review your return.
  • If everything is correct: Select - Submit

Getting your refund

  • Cash or check will be credited immediate.
  • Credit card will be credited with in 10 business days.
  • Debit Card with pin will be credited with 7 business days.
  • Refund credit will be credited with 3 hours.
  • Walmart gift card will be credited with 3 hours.
  • EBT card will be credited with 3 hours.

Return to store

Prepare the item(s) you’d like to return, including in all original packaging & with all accessories.

Please mark out any original shipping labels to avoid shipping errors or refund delays.

 

 Bring to the Walmart Customer Service desk your
  1. barcode*
  2. -item (in the box)
  3. *Barcode can be found in app or email.

Store Drop off- No barcode

  • Bring your item to the Customer Service
  • Desk
  • Provide your store receipt or order number No receipt? Provide debit/credit card or phone number or email.

Curbside Drop-Off

  • Select - the location you want to return to
  • Park in the designated Walmart curbside pickup area
  • An associate will come to your vehicle to retrieve and process the return.

Return from home

  • Place the item where packages are dropped off
  • A Walmart associate will pick up the return the next day*

*Only available with Walmart+

 

Drop off at FedEx location

  • You will be given a return code.
  • Repackage your items Bring it to a FedEx Location
  • Show an associate your return code.

Return by Mail

  • Repackage and label your return.
  • Drop it off at your local post office or any FedEx.

Schedule pick up

  • Schedule a pickup day and time
  • Repackage and label your return.
  • A FedEx driver will pick it up.
